Het verhaal erachter…

The mirror acts as a portal, transporting us to an alternate reality. What lies on the surface may not necessarily lie beneath… (Drum roll please!). The closer figure shuts her eyes, dreaming of escaping through the gateway to discover her real self. The artist succeeds in making each of the girls independent as well as part of a whole, again exploring the outer façade and the inner desires of the individual.

Untouchables is a five part photographic series that sees young asian girls trapped in a darkened room, where they remain 'untouchable' to the outside world.
