The story behind…
Let’s practice some self-control with popping those bubbles. Mila is composed and keeping at a distance behind this layer as she peeks through the opening, waiting to see if you can restrain yourself. Pop pop pop!
This work is inspired by Daniel Vertangen, “Portrait of Dina Lems, Wife of Jan Valckenburgh” (1660).

About Jasper Abels:
As a Dutch Photographer and Art Director, Jasper Abels started dabbling in photography at an early age. Graduating at the Royal Academy of The Hague, he has shot his way to the top and works with wide range of international clients and fashion magazines. Nature, for Jasper, is a huge source of inspiration. His farm, ‘De Boederie’ in East Holland is a creative playground where he’s surrounded by animals, forests, meadows and most importantly the space to develop his visionary projects. He calls it his ‘fashion farm’ where various fashion, music and art events take place. Sounds like our kind of place!
